We went camping this weekend at Beech Bend in Kentucky. We love to camp and the kids had a great time. We went to the Splash Lagoon and the Amusement park on Saturday. A monsoon came in on us Friday night and that was very interesting. Our tent held up very well and the kids slept right through it. It was a nice four day break from our usual hustle and bustle. Isaac rode the Kentucky Tumbler which is an all wooden rollar coaster. I was shocked. We bought the picture of him on the ride because he looked like Jim Carry and his face was priceless......
I am getting ready for school to begin, but I am going to savor the last week of summer. I know that it is going to be crazy and I am starting Graduate school on the 25th! Never a dull moment around here. The picture that I posted is from last summer in Gatlinburg! I love the picture, so I wanted to share it with everyone.
Blessings to everyone,
Laurie

A Day in The Life
Well, this is my first experience with blogging. I have to say that I did not do this on my own. My SUPER mom, Shauna S.set the whole thing up for me. She is so selfless. Her son was in my class two years ago WOW!and she is still constantly doing things for me. She was put into my life by God himself.
Things are busy here in the Tarpley household. Morgan had 4 teeth pulled and was a zombie for a day. Isaac has been putting words together this summer, and has filled the pantry door with words he can now read. I have come to the realization that Morgan is going to be in the 5th grade and I just cant believe it. Where does the time go. I see commercials for Walmart about kids leaving for college, and cry everytime. Poor Eric. Eric is doing great. He has turned our little love condo into a beautiful palace over the summer. He is so handy, and I love that about him. He sure loves to tinker with anything that may injure him.
If I get this thing up and running, I will be very impressed with myself. We will see how it goes. I am sure that Shauna will have to remind me to update it. No surprise there......
